It took seven people a total of three hours to weigh, mix, roll, pierce, form and fry what could be the world’s largest cannoli – right here in Somerville. The Golden Cannoli, a longtime family-owned food factory at 66 South St. in Boynton Yards, displayed a 10-foot-long golden, crispy shell filled with sweet ricotta at the 2011 New England Dessert Showcase Sept. 17 at the Back Bay Sheraton.
